There are various secret recipes of successful relationships. In our last topic, we identified who are the lucky men and lucky women. In this post, we would talk about another secret recipe of a successful relationship.
There are couples who had a successful relationship because one of them is a first-born and the other is a last-born.
Sounds funny?
Don’t worry, it’s not based on superstitions, astrology, constellations, or the linings on your palms. Believe it or not, it’s somewhat scientific.
Actually, it’s all about how we are nurtured and trained. First-borns are trained to be leaders. They would likely be the most responsible among siblings because they would often experience taking care of their younger brothers and sisters especially when their parents are not around. They give orders and delegate tasks to their siblings. No wonder first-borns grow up to be independent and more matured.
On the other hand last-borns are usually the ones who are dependent and needy of supervision. They grew up knowing they have parents and older siblings to take care of them and provide them with their necessities. They often take orders from anyone at home and would often be treated as “pets” rather than “leaders”. Less pressure, less responsibilities. They usually grow up to be easy-go-lucky people.
That’s why it is perfect to have a first-born-last-born-relationship. Simply because opposites attract. One is the leader and the other is the follower. One gives orders and the other listens. Perfect, isn’t it?
Can you imagine couples who are both leaders and both of them give orders (that may be contrasting with each other)? It’s World War III! Everyone talks, nobody listens. How about couples who are both followers? Nobody talks, both are waiting for someone else to give directions… Not good either!
